Investment in Yourself

Investing in therapy is a valuable commitment to your well-being. At our core, we believe in transparency. We openly discuss the cost of your self-improvement journey, ensuring you make an informed investment in your personal growth and happiness.

Insurance and Payment Details

This portion of our site is currently under construction. We are working on contracts with some insurance companies. If we form a contract with your insurance company you could use your coverage to pay for therapy services. Reach out if you would like the most up to date information on contracts with various insurance companies. At the time of this writing we are In-Network with Aetna, United Healthcare, UMR, Medica, and Optum. We are in the process of contracting with BCBS and possibly HP/Cigna. We anticipate seeking a contract with BCBS of Minnesota in the coming weeks – though these contracts do take about 1-3 months to secure. If we are contracted with your insurance it may cover the cost of your mental health therapy session. Let’s chat about how that works in a free 15 minute consultation.

Receipts or “Superbills” for services are available upon request should you like to seek “Out of Network” reimbursement. While some services may be reimbursable by your insurance, others, like messaging support, will not be covered. You may be able to use your HSA/FSA card for services or you are free to pay with another method. Your mental health is an investment, and we’re here to assist you in any way we can. Your well-being is our priority.

No Surprises Act

  • The “No Surprises Act” allows you to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of what you would pay if you pay “out of pocket” for services. I can create you this estimate before you even start services. You can ask for this estimate as well.
  • You can learn more here: https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
  • Balance Billing is when a provider bills you for the difference between what they charge and what your insurance will cover.
  • Surprise billing is receiving a “balance bill” unexpectedly
  • You do have a right to use your insurance and are not required to use services from providers who are “not in network” with your insurance. You may contact your insurance for in-network providers if you would like to use a contracted provider.
  • If your bill is substantially in excess of what your estimate described you may start a dispute. You can start by reaching out to your provider by phone or by email.
  • Please familiarize yourself with your insurance plan.
